File format not accepted

Symptom: Velo rejects your file or it doesn’t appear after uploading. Fix: Check that your file is a supported format: PDF, PNG, JPG/JPEG, GIF, or WebP. Other file types are not accepted. If you’re exporting from a design tool or presentation app, re-export as PDF or PNG before uploading.

Upload fails or stalls

Symptom: The upload progress stops or the file doesn’t appear in the list. Fix: Check the following:
  • Each file must be under 100 MB. Larger files will be rejected.
  • You can upload a maximum of 10 files per Velo.
  • Try refreshing the page and re-uploading.
  • If you’re uploading a large PDF, try splitting it into smaller files before uploading.

Microphone not working during narration

Symptom: The canvas session starts but Velo can’t hear your microphone, or the transcript comes back blank. Fix: Check that your browser has microphone permissions for Velo. In Chrome, click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → Microphone → Allow. Refresh the page and try again. Make sure no other application is blocking the microphone at the system level.

Canvas tab closes unexpectedly

Symptom: The canvas tab closes before you’ve finished narrating all your files. Fix: The canvas tab is managed by the Velo Chrome Extension. If it closes unexpectedly, check that the extension is still active and you haven’t navigated away. Return to the main Velo tab and restart the narration session from the beginning.

Transcript is inaccurate or missing

Symptom: After narrating, the transcript looks wrong, is mostly empty, or doesn’t match what you said. Fix: This usually happens if the microphone volume was too low or there was too much background noise. Try narrating again in a quieter environment and speak clearly, closer to your microphone. You can restart the narration from the Uploading step.

Script generation failed or produced poor results

Symptom: The script is irrelevant, repetitive, or doesn’t match your files and narration. Fix: Click Regenerate Script on the Script Review page. Before regenerating, check your Additional Instructions in VeloTwin Setup - adding more specific guidance about tone, audience, or focus areas usually improves the output significantly. You can go back and update instructions before regenerating.

Agent recording failed or got stuck

Symptom: The Agent Recording screen stalls, the live feed freezes, or you get an error. Fix: Click Cancel Session to stop the current run, then click Go, Make my Velo → again from the Script Review page to restart the agent. If the problem persists, try regenerating the script and running the agent again.
