Microphone not working during narration
Symptom: The session starts but Velo can’t hear your microphone, or the transcript comes back blank. Fix: Check that your browser has microphone permission for Velo. In Chrome, click the lock icon in the address bar → Site settings → Microphone → Allow. Refresh and try again. Also make sure no other app is blocking the mic at the system level.The URL tab doesn’t open
Symptom: After clicking Continue on the Assisted Recording modal, no new tab opens with your URL. Fix: Check that the Velo Chrome Extension is installed and enabled. The extension is required to open the URL tab for recording. See Chrome Extension Installation. If the extension is installed, try refreshing the Velo page and starting again.Agent can’t load the page (bot protection / Cloudflare)
Symptom: In the Browser Agent live feed, the page shows a Cloudflare or “Performing security verification” screen. The agent keeps waiting but can’t get through. Fix: The website you’re trying to demo has bot-detection that’s blocking the agent. This is common on sites like Product Hunt, some SaaS marketing pages, and other high-traffic sites. Unfortunately the agent cannot bypass these checks. Alternatives:- Use a staging URL or a different URL that doesn’t have bot protection
- Use Capture Screen Recording instead, where you record through your own authenticated browser session
