Public VeloTwins vs. My VeloTwins

Velo includes a library of Public VeloTwins - a set of built-in AI presenters you can use right away without any setup. These are great for getting started quickly or for Velos where a generic presenter is fine. My VeloTwins are custom presenters you create yourself. They use your own face and voice, making your Velos feel personal and on-brand. If you’re building Velos for sales, onboarding, or customer communication, a custom VeloTwin that looks and sounds like you (or your team) creates a much stronger impression.

What you’ll create

Creating a VeloTwin is a one-time process with two parts:
  • Your face - a single photo taken through Velo’s camera capture. Velo generates a photorealistic avatar from the photo and automatically handles natural cues like blinking and nodding.
  • Your voice - a short recording of you reading a training script. Velo clones your vocal tone, pace, and character to produce a natural-sounding voice for your Velos.
Once both are submitted and processed, your VeloTwin is ready to use across any project.
