You record your product live - navigating through it naturally - and Velo transforms that recording into a polished, AI-narrated Velo with synchronized zooms, a VeloTwin voice, and a professional background. This method works for any software you can show on screen: web apps, desktop tools, dashboards, internal tools, and more.

When to use it

Capture Screen Recording is the best choice when:
  • You want to showcase a live, interactive product with real navigation
  • Your product requires authentication or can’t be accessed via a public URL
  • You want precise control over what gets recorded - exactly what you show is what ends up in the Velo
  • You’re recording a desktop application or anything outside a browser

What you’ll need

  • The Velo Chrome Extension installed (see setup guide)
  • The product or app you want to showcase, ready to go

The flow

Set up and name your recording

Open the Capture Screen Recording modal from the dashboard, name your project, and click Continue.

Choose what to share

Chrome will ask you to select a tab, window, or your entire screen to capture.

Record your walkthrough

Navigate through your product naturally. Velo captures everything in real time.

Select your VeloTwin voice

After stopping the recording, choose the AI presenter voice that will narrate your Velo.

Review and generate

Review the auto-generated script in the editor, make edits, then generate your Velo.

Edit and share

Fine-tune your Velo in the editor - adjust zooms, add a face, tweak audio - then publish and share.
