After your narration transcript is processed, Velo takes you to the VeloTwin Setup page. This is where you configure the AI agent that will build your Velo - picking the presenter voice, setting the tone and style, and choosing how long the final Velo should be. Unlike other creation methods, the VeloTwin Setup here does more than just pick a voice. It gives the agent the context it needs to write a tailored script from your narration transcript.

Selecting a VeloTwin

The Select Your VeloTwin section shows your available AI presenters. Each card displays a thumbnail and the presenter’s name with their accent (for example, “Drew - American” or “Viraj - Indian”). Click the play icon on any card to hear a voice preview. Choose the presenter whose voice best fits your brand and audience.
Your VeloTwin cannot be changed after Velo generation. Choose carefully - this selection is locked once you click “Go, Make my Velo.”

Public VeloTwins vs. My VeloTwins

The Public VeloTwins tab shows Velo’s built-in library of AI presenters. The My VeloTwins tab shows any custom VeloTwins you’ve created using your own voice and likeness. Learn how to create one in the Creating VeloTwin section.

Additional instructions

The Additional Instructions field lets you give the agent specific guidance on how to write the script. Use this to set tone, focus, or messaging priorities. For example:
  • “Keep it conversational and friendly - avoid technical jargon.”
  • “Focus on the value for sales teams, not developers.”
  • “Highlight the time-saving benefits in every scene.”
This field is optional, but a few sentences here can meaningfully improve the script quality.

Default style

The Default Style dropdown sets the overall presentation style for the narration. Choose the option that best matches how you want your demo to feel.

Duration

The Duration dropdown lets you set the target length for the generated Velo. Select the option that matches your intended use - shorter for quick product teasers, longer for detailed walkthroughs.
Face generation is available on certain plans. For videos under 3 minutes, you get 1 free avatar face per cycle.

Generating the script

Once you’ve configured your VeloTwin, instructions, style, and duration, click Generate Script. Velo’s AI agent will analyse your narration transcript and files to write a scene-by-scene script for your Velo. You’ll be taken to the Script Review page once generation is complete.
