Upload PDFs and PNGs lets you build a Velo demo from static files - pitch decks, product screenshots, design mockups, onboarding slides, or any images that show your product. Instead of recording a live session, you upload your files and Velo’s AI agent walks through them, narrates each scene, and produces a polished demo.
This method is currently in Beta.

When to use it

Upload PDFs and PNGs is the best choice when:
  • You have a pitch deck, slide deck, or set of product screenshots you want to turn into a Velo
  • Your product isn’t publicly accessible but you have design files or mockups to show
  • You want to create a Velo without doing a live recording
  • You need to showcase a future feature that isn’t built yet - just mock it up and upload

What you’ll need

  • A Velo account with the Chrome extension installed (required for the Assisted Recording step)
  • Files in one of the supported formats: PDF, PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP
  • Up to 10 files, each under 100 MB

The flow

1

Upload your files

Name your project and upload your PDFs or images.
2

Walk through your files with narration

Velo opens your files in a canvas tab. Walk through them while talking - your voice guides how Velo builds the demo.
3

Set up your VeloTwin

Choose an AI presenter voice, add context instructions, and set a target video length. Then click Generate Script.
4

Review the script

Review the AI-generated scene-by-scene script. Edit the narration for each scene, then click Go, Make my Velo.
5

Watch the agent record

Velo’s AI agent takes over - it walks through your files, following the script, and records your Velo automatically.
6

Edit and share

Fine-tune your Velo in the editor, add a VeloTwin face, then publish and share.
